Anthony Lye joins the Adams family
Adams Capital Management, Inc. today announced that Anthony Lye, an industry veteran and current leader at Siebel Systems / Oracle Corporation has left his post there to joins Adams as a venture partner. Lye will brings over twenty years’ worth of experience in IT and networking infrastructure, sharing what he learned while handling business strategies, sales, product marketing and management, and P&L responsibility for groups, divisions and companies.
Lye’s previous position was the group vice president and general manager applications for Siebel Systems / Oracle Corporation, where he led product integration for the acquisition and was directly responsible for all of CRM core horizontal and vertical application technologies including sales, service, marketing, customer order management, self service, enterprise information management and UI/UE, managing direct application strategy, product marketing, and product management. Previous to the Siebel post, Lye was ePeople president / CEO. ePeople is a collaborative CRM company focused on “built to order” customer relationships.
Lye has also held positions in product marketing and management, domestic and international sales and marketing at Tivoli, Remedy Corporation and Categoric Software. Lye will continue to call Palo Alto, Calif. home, and from there he will be responsible for evaluation of potential investments and working with existing portfolio companies in the IT and networking infrastructure industries. Established in 1994, Adams Capital Management (ACM) is a national venture capital firm with $700 million under management. ACM specializes in domain and operations expertise in the information technology, networking infrastructure and semiconductor industries.
