CDC repurchasing away
CDC Corporation announced today that as of May 1, the company had repurchased 6,936,624 common shares for $35,604,235, an average price of $5.13 in the past 365 days. The board of directors has approved an additional share repurchase program which authorizes the repurchase of up to $20 million of the company’s common shares for twelve months until May 2008.
The company entered into a 10b5-1 trading plan to facilitate the repurchase of its common shares, allowing the company to repurchase shares during trading blackout periods through pre-arrangements with a broker. Beyond the share repurchase program, company senior management has purchased approximately 387,000 shares since January 1.
CDC Corporation is a provider of enterprise resource planning and supply chain management software applications in addition to its CRM solutions.
