Jumping in
Tarzana, Calif.-based on-demand applications provider InfoStreet has taken the big plunge into CRM. Though InfoStreet had offered its StreetSmart applications through VARs for years and had produced many software as a service programs over a decade but, as InfoStreet CEO Siamak Faraqh says, “CRM is our first add on.” InfoStreet promises their new CRM application to be usable from within extant applications; perform all interactions with the customer; track contacts, opportunities and organizations; upload files; assign tasks; and send mail.
In email, VARs can take the service, customize it, and specialty-label it for customers. InfoStreet Inc. promotes itself as “one of the first companies focused solely on internet services.” Founded in 1994, InfoStreet today develops and operates a fully managed, on-demand integrated suite of software providing IT and groupware-oriented SaaS. StreetSmart is InfoStreet’s flagship product and includes functions designed for virus- and spam-protected mail; calendar; workflow; CRM; website publishing; blogs, mailing lists, access control and other goodies.
