NetSuite, which develops on-demand CRM suites, has released a new user interface for its NetSuite Version 11.0. The AJAX interface is being touted as a first in SaaS applications and is said to facilitate reporting, scheduling, and document management. NetSuite has also introduced SuiteScript, which has been developed using industry-standard JavaScript. SuiteScript is being referred to as a new platform that offers heightened user-defined extensibility via sturdy and easy-to-customize business processes. tmcnet.com says:

In 2002, NetSuite used AJAX in their on-demand business applications, adding Windows-like navigation in NetSuite Version 8.0. Subsequent releases had real-time dashboards featuring drag-and-drop personalization, and the product announced today uses AJAX on every application page.
