OfficeMax rates Nielsen highly
AC Nielsen U.S. has announced an information sharing alliance with OfficeMax Incorporated, an agreement that will seeks to enable OfficeMax vendors in gaining new insights into their U.S. outlets sales performance.
Under terms of the agreement, AC Nielsen will monitor sales and create a “total trading area” for OfficeMax. AC Nielsen will design and develop custom category management templates in order to enhance OfficeMax’s category management process. The agreement also includes the services AC Nielsen Onsite, RWS/Nitro and Strategic Planner.
On the other side, OfficeMax will utilize Spectra EnLighten, a CRM tool that helps profile customers.
AC Nielsen, a VNU business, is reportedly the world’s leading marketing information provider. Offering services in more than 100 countries, the unit provides measurement and analysis of marketplace dynamics and consumer attitudes and behavior. In America, of course, AC Nielsen is primarily known as the company that providing the country’s television viewing statistics.
