SAP not a fan of open source
According to Shai Agassi, president, product and technology group, SAP, the company is in favor of a limited use of open source codes. SAP is of the view that open source can be used for innovating with an existing platform but tinkering with the source code should not be encouraged. crmbuyer.com says:
"Intellectual property (IP) socialism is the worst that can happen to any IP based society. And we are an IP based society. If there is no way to protect IP, there is no reason to invest in IP."
